The BeckonCall app is currently available in the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android devices. We offer limited feature support for non-smart phones and alphanumeric pagers.
All incoming messages are delivered right to the BeckonCall app on your smart phone, securely and immediately. You’ll receive both audio recordings and transcriptions of all incoming voice messages, and text and group messaging works just like you expect.
Is that a rhetorical question? With BeckonCall, you and your practice will finally have the best of smart phone features and communication you expect as a consumer — all in an easy to use, secure and HIPAA compliant app that is built for the way you work today. And, you’ll save money — 30%-50% on average compared to your current live-operator service.
Forget faxing hand-written coverage schedules to your call service. BeckonCall gives you complete control of your schedules with a simple and intuitive scheduling tool that is just as easy as sending an invite to a party. What’s more, all of the doctors in your practice will have a continually updated version of schedules on their smart phone app, so there’s never any confusion about who’s on-call.
With BeckonCall, unanswered voice mails are a thing of the past. Multi-layer escalation protocols are built-in for incoming voice and text messages. On-call providers will receive multiple reminders for unread messages at predetermined intervals that you control, and you can designate contacts or other BeckonCall schedules as back-ups in case the target provider is unreachable. Message read & receipt confirmations are displayed to senders, and retained in your account so that there is never any doubt whether a message has been acknowledged.
Absolutely. The messages and sequence of options that callers hear when they call your after-hours line are customizable to fit the specific needs of your practice. Your greetings can be played using our text-to-speech conversion technology, or we can work with you to implement professionally recorded voice-overs for a modest additional one-time fee.
